1. Who we are
ITARCUS is an IT services group made up of ITARCUS LLC, registered in the United States (Austin, Texas), and ITARCUS Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom (together “ITARCUS”, “we”, “us”). For the personal data described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy, the ITARCUS company you deal with is the data controller: ITARCUS Ltd for people in the UK and Europe, and ITARCUS LLC for people in the USA and elsewhere. The two companies may share data with each other as described below.
ITARCUS Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller, and we handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and EU GDPR (where applicable).

3. When we act as controller and when as processor
We are the controller for data about our website visitors, enquiries, clients, partners, suppliers, engineers and job applicants. When we deliver services to a client and handle the client’s own data on their systems, the client is normally the controller and ITARCUS acts as a processor, following the client’s written instructions under a data processing agreement.
4. What we use personal data for
- Responding to enquiries and delivering services
- Managing client, partner and supplier relationships
- Recruiting and managing engineers and staff
- Securing our systems and preventing misuse of our website and forms
- Meeting legal, tax and regulatory duties
- Marketing, only where you have agreed or the law allows
5. Legal bases
We rely on contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and, where required, consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Who we share data with
Only with people who need it: professional advisers, service providers such as email, hosting, form-handling and verification providers (for example the service that delivers website enquiries to us by email), and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Because we operate in the UK and the US, data may move between them. Where required, we use safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, and Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or object to its use. Email us using the details above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), to your local EU supervisory authority, or to the relevant US state authority.
9. Security and retention
We use technical and organisational measures to protect data and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
